Trident(IIE):Trident is the engine behind the popular Internet Explorer (TM). Though it's one of the most
prevailing web browsers and covers the largest number of web sites, its relatively slow rendering speed is known
as its drawback.
Gecko(FF):For frequent users of Web applications such as web mail services based on complex JavaScript, the Gecko
engine, the heart of Firefox (TM) and famous for its recent Open-Source development, is recommended. The Gecko
engine installed by Lunascape is the latest version with special optimization that won world's fastest JavaScript
execution speed (Sep. 11, 2008, Source: Lunascape).
Webkit:WebKit is a rendering engine enjoying the recent buzz as a newcomer with the releases of Safari and Google
Chrome that use this engine. While it shares some traits with the Gecko engine such as Open-Source and speedy web
rendering, it supports less Web sites.
